George Zimmerman’s Brother Goes on Racist Twitter Tirade

Zimmerman compares Trayvon Martin to a black teen who murdered a baby.

On Saturday, the media reported that De’Marquise Elkins, a 17-year-old teen, along with another 14-year-old had been detained as suspects for shooting and killing a mother named Sherry West’s 13-month-old baby.

Afterward, George Zimmerman’s brother, Robert Zimmerman, Jr., took to Twitter to offer a racist comparison of De’Marquise Elkins and Trayvon Martin by tweeting a photo of Elkins and Martin side-by-side holding up their middle fingers. It read “A picture speaks a thousand words … Any Questions?” Robert tweeted the photo at Michael Moore, the NAACP, the NRA, and a editor.

I guess when Zimmerman was trying to compare someone who shot and killed a baby to someone who was unarmed, shot and killed, skin color was all he could come up with… And middle fingers.

Zimmerman continued trying to compare the teens, posting a Tweet that upholds his brother’s version of events:

zimmerman2While George Zimmerman and his defenders have been working to convince others his actions weren’t motivated by race, Robert’s tweet says it all about how our society continues to criminalize black men because of deep-rooted racism.
